Rekindling the light of Jewish unity

Indeed, we have to rekindle the flames of “eternal Jewish unity.”
More precisely, we have to make this unity eternal, strong enough to withstand any challenges. Our unity must be stronger than our inherent diversity, differences of opinions, and the temptation to give in to the “unfounded hatred” between us to separate us from each other.
We have to remember and humbly accept that our disunity and infighting attract our external enemy to try to destroy the weakened Jews.
This is described in the “Purim story,” where Haman confidently plans the extermination of a “scattered nation.”. Josephus Flavius’s account describes how the Romans entered Jerusalem after a long Jewish civil war that had already devastated Jerusalem, so much so that the Romans at first did not even want to take credit for their victory.
And the Maccabees had to defeat the “Hellenistic Jews” more than the Greeks themselves.
If the modern State of Israel was united, acting in true mutual guarantee, groups like Hamas or Hezbollah would not be able to inflict the damage they do, and the world would not question the Jewish Nation’s right to exist on its Land.
Everything starts and ends with internal unity and mutual guarantee among Jews.
Everything else is simply the consequence of that unity, especially since the world consciously or unconsciously demands this positive example from Jews as the only working template for sustainable human societies above and against the inherently egoistic, hateful human nature.
