Reasons to unite

Question from the Internet:

“What is the one thing that can unite the world?”

At the moment only great, global catastrophes can bring us together, even those only temporarily. Then we all revert to our usual, inherently egocentric, self-serving, subjective way of life where we mostly benefit, succeed at the expense of others.

In order to unite, to build positive, sustainable, mutually responsible, and mutually complementing cooperation we would need a positive, attractive goal, purpose that can neutralize our individualistic, ruthlessly competitive tendencies.

Through a unique, purposeful, and practical educational method, we can learn and actually feel our total interdependence, and thus we can accept that our individual survival is intricately intertwined with the survival of the whole global humanity — as we all exist, journey on the same, presently sinking global boat.

This comes from Nature’s evolution so we can disagree with it but we simply have no other choice.

When we understood that we can survive in Nature’s fully integrated, lawful system together and we implement the necessary method to do so, we will start to feel and understand the much greater, higher reasons to stay united, finding much stronger and more attractive reasons than simple physical survival as we will sense the qualitatively much higher sense of existence a united, mutually cooperating human “super-organism” can provide.
