Progress towards natural integration
Question from the Internet:
“What is the ultimate measure of progress and genuine social change?”
For measuring anything we need a precise, well-defined goal we can measure against.
In terms of human society so far we only had different arbitrary goals that we established through our inherently self-serving, self-justifying ideologies, philosophies, systems.
If we switched to a different, this time objective, “non-human" goal which is the same for all of us, we could better measure our progress and achieve genuine, sustainable changes.
We need to take Nature’s evolution, Nature’s strict, unchanging laws that system the balance, homeostasis life depends on as standard.
If our goal becomes achieving a nature-like, fully, mutually integrated human society, that as a result of the achieved similarity also integrated into Nature, we can easily measure our progress by the quantitative and qualitative level of mutually responsible, mutually complementing connections, cooperation we build.
As a result we will also see how our ability to solve and prevent threatening global problems, crisis situations also increases.
