Politicians will never unite a nation!

An article in The Jerusalem Post:

My comment:

While what the article writes is true, we cannot blame the politicians alone.

After all, what do we expect from them?!

They are politicians, so what else can they do but play politics? They were elected by, and are supported by, different, divisive, and infighting fractions from Israeli society.

We have so many parties in Israel because the society is so fragmented.

Thus, solutions won’t come from the politicians.

If we want unity, we need to unite “from within,” starting from the “grassroots.”

Politicians will never unite a country; it is not their “software,” and it is not their job. Their job is to divide and conquer, this is how they are educated and this is what their suitable for, this is why they are politicians.

If Israel the people want unity, we have to do it by ourselves, regardless of ignoring the politicians and the media, which is also only a propaganda machinery to serve the “divide and conquer.”

We have an ancient, tried, and tested practical method that can teach us how to rise above the diversity, divisions, instinctive infighting, and mutual distrust.

There is no time to blame and wait on the politicians.

If we want unity, we can start to use our original method of unity — the first Nation of Israel pledged to at Sinai — here and now!
