Political, national borders and differences will become less relevant in a globally integrated world

Question from the Internet:

“Are international political boundaries likely to change (countries merging or splitting) more or less in the next century than in the previous 100 years?”

As we can see, actual or imminent wars are still raging to rewrite national borders, to move people from place to place, so such borders will probably remain fluid for a while.

On the other hand, such initiatives will become more and more irrelevant as an increasing number of people learn and become aware of the globally integrated and fully interdependent system we evolved into and have to survive in.

When we tangibly understand that we are but individual cells of a single, fully interconnected and living Human “super-organism” such separations, fights for land or identity will fade away.

We will not lose our national and individual identities and uniqueness, but instead of using them to separate us from others, we will learn how to use our unique and irreplaceable qualities for the benefit of the whole global collective and for Humanity's positive and mutually beneficial interconnection with Nature.
