Perception of reality

Question from the Internet:

“Are we totally separate from the rest of reality, or are we in a way dragging the air with us?”

We are born with a completely egocentric, subjective consciousness and perception of reality.

The reality we access right now is inside of us, we paint it, project it seemingly “outside of us" through our inherently egocentric, selfish filters.

At this stage we can’t even judge if there is any actual reality “outside", or all that exists is the “Matrix" we ourselves generate and live in.

In order to discern if there is an actual, objective reality outside of our “Plato’s Caves” we would need to learn how to perceive reality totally selflessly, disconnected from any egocentric, subjective calculations, thoughts, desires.

There is a unique, practical, scientific method that can help us in this inquiry, research, by guiding us to sense, compute, perceive reality through the desires, thoughts and viewpoints of “others”.

More precisely those “others" are seemingly different people that we can sense in this “Matrix" separated from our perceived “self", still as we sense then we “others", separate, different from “ourselves" they can provide a “trapdoor" to escape the “Matrix…
