Peace instead of War

Question from the Internet:

“Do you think attempting to end wars would be unnecessary? This world was built for conflict.”

You are completely right, our world was built for conflict, as our world is built by our inherently self-serving, self-justifying, exploitative, and egoistic nature. Our inherent program drives us towards excessive overconsumption, accumulating all wealth and resources only for ourselves, while we constantly succeed, survive at each other’s expense.

This is the reason behind the helplessly recurring, vicious historic cycles, and if we continue following our original software blindly, instinctively, sooner or later we exterminate ourselves.

But we have the ability and chance to change ourselves, to upgrade our inherent nature. We have a unique human intellect, capable of critical self-assessment and initiating self-change.

And in our generation a crucially important, critical mass of people is forming, who are already recognizing the root cause behind all of humanity’s problems — our own nature, ego — and are willing to implement the only cure: consciously, methodically changing ourselves, instead of changing, correcting, canceling others or manipulating the world around us.

Then — as more and more people will come to this recognition and realization — we will be able to build new, mutually responsible and mutually complementing connections, sustainable peace, above and against our inherent nature.
