Peace cannot be achieved through control or coercion

Question from the Internet:

“Do we need control to have peace in our society?”

Please ask yourself, “have we ever achieved anything lasting and sustainable by forcing and coercing people”?

Do the laws of society that restrict people and try to control their life work? Why are we making all possible efforts to go around the laws and restrictions of society? Why do we cheat on our taxes, go faster than allowed and constantly do things that skirt the outside of the laws that try to keep us “civil”?

This is how human nature works. people do things only when they actually want to do them when they come on board and buy into ideas and changes because they believe in them and they are convinced that following them will bring them clear benefits.

We cannot change human nature; all our calculations are based on personal “pleasure and pain”. Thus we move when we expect greater pleasures and more benefits for ourselves or when we try to escape actual or expected pain and suffering.

Thus if we want to achieve peace — or anything else — we need the right education and information exchange coupled with actual and practical exercises so people can not only understand but actually feel that the changes we would like to make will actually make their lives better.

Today we are in an “ideal” situation to start educating people about the absolute necessity of mutual concessions and peaceful existence that can facilitate humanity to become an optimally functioning, single, living organism.

We have a very real threat of a nuclear world war brewing while there will be no nation whose society will not fall apart and sink into turmoil due to the inevitable socio-economic collapse.

At the same time, we also see and feel how inevitably and irrevocably integrated and interdependent we have all become all across the world.

Thus with the right, purposeful and highly practical educational method, we can clearly show people and make them viscerally feel what they gain by building peace and positive, mutually responsible, and mutually complementing interconnections and cooperation. And they will also see the contrast very sharply, what we will all lose if we fail to build such peace and mutually complementing integration.

Without humanity becoming that willingly and consciously integrated single living organism, we will not only kill each other through wars but also remain desperately helpless in solving other global issues such as climate change, pollution, receding food, water and energy resources and recurring plagues, for example.
