Our victory has to be uncompromising, based on unconditional national unity!

An article from The Jerusalem Post:

My comment:

I fully agree with the author.

What we do now, what “peace agreement” we make, is not only about this war. It has wide-ranging implications for the future as well.

If Hamas gains any rewards for kidnapping Israelis and the psychological terror they are still conducting through the hostages; they will continue kidnapping Israelis on an even greater scale next time, also giving motives to our other enemies to do the same.

This is the time when Israel needs to remain very strong and steadfast, and in this respect, so far, Netanyahu has shown a necessary example of how not to surrender to the enormous pressure from all sides.

However, a single person or even a government cannot resist such incredible pressure from the outside and from within.

We can win this war and prepare ourselves for future wars only when we remain strong.

Our strength depends on our undisputed and unconditional unity, where above and against our diversity, simmering divisions, disagreements, and constantly awakening “unfounded hatred” between Jews, we consciously decide to work together and revive the original mutual guarantee that is the foundation and lifeline of our Nation.

This requires the right education and constant “superhuman” — above inherently selfish, egoistic, and individualistic nature — efforts from all of us!
