Our immediate, dystopian future awaits

“Can you give me a good example of a possible dystopian future?”

Please look into the news today, in the last few months, years. Now start drawing a logical, cause and effect line from where we are, using historical experience — taking the example of the recurring, vicious historic cycles — and then you will see that dystopian future that is just around the corner — although we try very hard not to see it.

We are escaping into mindless “circus and bread” entertainment, pointless activism, or directly take addictive substances so we would not see what awaits us.

But it is a worsening crisis, increasingly unliveable, extreme weather conditions, stronger, more lethal plagues, water and food shortage for billions of people, and of course the inevitable wars — probably with terrible weapons of mass destruction — that awaits us.

Put all the dystopian Hollywood movies together and imagine that this is going to happen in real life very soon with natural disasters wiping out our cities while humans literally consuming each other like “walking dead”.

Not in the far future or even in the next generation, but anything and everything can happen even within this year. We can trigger a global meltdown at any moment from multiple different causes in different places.

The question is not if this going to happen, the question is only when it will happen, the question is how much time we have left to try to avoid the above scenarios which are already unfolding in certain places as we speak!

Do we finally recognize our own inherently selfish, egocentric, individualistic, and exploitative nature behind the problems?! Do we have enough need, will to change ourselves — instead of changing, correcting, canceling others?!

If we do, then there is a solution, we have the remedy in the form of a unique, purposeful, and practical scientific method. And it is even enough if a certain “critical minority” — about 10–15% of any given society — is ready and willing, sensitive enough!

Do we have that critical minority that can pull the rest of the desperately helpless humanity behind them to safety?!
