Our Human uniqueness is contributing to Nature’s balance, mutual responsibility consciously

Opinion on the Internet about Nature’s mutual responsibility:

“Things in nature are not mutually responsible, though it may seem like it. The deer population doesn’t correct itself because deer want to live in harmony with the earth. They breed and eat until they begin to starve and die off, thus their population balances.”

You just described Nature’s mutual responsibility/guarantee. It is not conscious, but it is a constantly balanced system, always within the optimal parameters of natural necessities and available resources.

And the balance is maintained through all the means that exist in Nature.

It is called Nature’s “circle of life", and whenever Humans try to interfere according to their egocentric, subjective ideas (like trying to kill sharks to facilitate surfers, kill wolves eating like stock, uprooting forests, redirecting rivers, etc) we cause irreversible damage all the time.

Our Human uniqueness — our predetermined evolutionary purpose — is to consciously join this mutual guarantee, consciously learn how to keep the balance and homeostasis. This fully aware, conscious partnership with Nature makes us Human.
