Our future depends on understanding what is happening to us now

Question from the Internet:

“What’s happening in the world? What will happen in the next coming years?”

What will happen in the next coming years depends on how well we understand what is happening in the world now.

As we can learn from multiple examples, events — most notably from the pandemic — we have evolved into a globally integrated and fully interdependent world, but we still try to behave, “solve problems” through our inherently self-serving, self-justifying, egocentric, and exploitative nature, always succeeding, surviving at the expense of others and Nature.

If we recognize and accept this, and as a result we methodically, purposefully change ourselves, change how we relate to each other and Nature, then we look forward to a better, more positive, safer, and prosperous future for all of us.

If we keep ignoring the reminders, lessons we receive from the incessant socioeconomic crisis and natural disasters, plagues, we will encounter more and more blows until intolerable suffering will convince us about the necessity to change.

We find ourselves in a “cosmic educational process” where evolution tests are wisdom and readiness if we want to develop instinctively like blind animals (changing only when they are beaten), or we are ready to develop consciously, proactively alongside Nature as truly human beings.
