Our ego destroys the world

Social media is not destroying the world.

Social media is just another external representation, a symptom of our inherently selfish, egotistic, individualistic, and exploitative nature that is destroying the world.

We can’t solve anything through symptomatic treatment, by blaming, correcting, erasing, changing different systems, ideologies, and other people.

If we want true, working solutions, first of all, we need to purposefully, willingly, methodically change ourselves.

We can see how harmful, futile all our so-called “solutions” are, each just digs us ever deeper into problems, crises. We will continue on our seemingly unstoppable path of destruction, self-destruction unless we finally accept the need to change only ourselves and how we relate to others and the world.
