Only hard-fought “inner peace” can lead to peace in the world

Question from the Internet:

“How can mankind live in peace?”

In order to live in peace among people, first, we have to create peace within ourselves.

The single root cause of all the disputes, conflicts, ruthless, exclusive competition and wars that dominate human history and even our present generation is our own, inherently selfish, egoistic, subjective and individualistic nature that constantly drives us towards convincing, defeating, overcoming others to prove our own superiority.

Knowingly, unknowingly we all want to take control over others and everything that surrounds us. This is how we are “programmed” by nature.

The only way we can achieve a lasting peace between individuals and nations, the only way we can build the crucially necessary, positive, mutually responsible and mutually complementing interconnections and cooperation our survival depends on is overcoming, neutralizing our inherent nature, instincts with opposite, selfless, altruistic, unconditionally serving, loving intentions we have to “borrow”, learn from Nature’s integral system.

Only when we “win” the internal war, when we achieve internal balance against our instincts can we become “peaceful”, accepting, able to connect with others.
