Only by changing ourselves can we save the planet and ourselves!
Question from the Internet:
“What do you think about the future of our life? Will we go through another planet to keep living or could we repair the earth that we live on?”
I am sorry to say, but the idea of colonizing other planets as a result of Humanity making Earth uninhabitable (as seen for example in the movie, “Interstellar”) portrays the mindset of cancer:
“Excessively consuming everything for selfish gain and then moving on until there is the opportunity to continue destroying until the moment of death.”
Our future survival depends on one thing only: changing our inherently “cancer-like”, excessively consuming, self-serving, individualistic, and exploitative nature.
As we are heading towards seemingly inevitable self-destruction — while we are very far from “escaping this planet” in any shape or form — we do not have any other choice but to swallow the bitter pill and accept that the only thing that needs changing, “curing” is ourselves.
As soon as at least a healthy, critical minority accepts this and is willing to go through the crucially necessary “self-upgrade” — learning how to rebuild Humanity on mutually responsible, mutually complementing connections above and against the instinctively selfish calculations, and start scaling down to a lifestyle based on the optimal parameters of natural necessities/available resources, we will get the chance to repair this planet, and safeguard our collective survival.
Then these pioneers will be able to pull the rest of the crisis-ridden Humanity behind them.
