Nothing else can save Israel but unity and mutual guarantee!

An article in The Jerusalem Post:

My comment:

We are still missing the point.

The US “supports” Israel as long as it serves their own agenda. At the same time, America is blackmailing Israel into accepting defeat on all fronts.

Even if the intercept rate is 99.9%, if the one missile that got through carries a chemical or nuclear warhead, it is a total disaster.

This was just a “show-off,” even Hezbollah has more and more advanced missiles aimed at Israel, not to mention Syria and perhaps even Iraq.

If they truly want to cause significant and devastating damage to Israel — regardless of the consequences after — they can do so.

Israel can’t rely on America or on its defensive capabilities for long-term survival.

But as long as Israel is fragmented and keeps infighting even while it is under attack, while both the “left and the right,” “religions and non-religious” only care about justifying themselves and convincing or overcoming the others, Israel will remain weak, undecisive and open for further attacks and manipulations.

We won’t even know what to do and how to succeed unless we return to the unique and “supernatural” unity and mutual guarantee our predecessors achieved above and against the inherently selfish, egocentric, exploitative, and hateful human nature, covering instinctive “unfounded hatred” with acquired “brotherly love.”

We do not have strength and ability without that unity, and we do not have “deterrence” either.

At the moment, our enemies and “allies” are toying with us as they wish.
