Nature’s strict laws that sustain balance apply to Humanity as well
Opinion from the Internet about Human activity interfering with Nature’s balance:
“Humanity’s “interference” with Nature’s balance is a part of Nature as much as the ant mound that changes the soil or the predation of the lion that thins the herd.”
You are right that since we are born from Nature we are still operating within Nature’s system knowingly or unknowingly.
But other animals operate instinctively within Nature’s balance, homeostasis. They don’t leave their natural habitat and they never consume beyond the optimal parameters of natural necessities and available resources.
The lion hunts and consumes the prey in order to survive, then it eats as much as it needs then leaves the carcass for secondary predators and scavengers. Moreover predators usually catch and eat the weaker specimens from the prey herd, helping their natural selection.
And when animals overpopulate, of resources lessen for any reason, Nature will decimate them through multiple different means until the balance is restored.
Please tell me if you can apply the same principles to a Humanity that consumes way beyond necessities (we are not even aware of what our actual, true necessities are, as we don’t feel the Natural system and its balance instinctively), Humans who destroy, kill, hunt for fun and consciously enjoy succeeding at the expense of others while deplete Nature recklessly?
But, you are right, Nature’s laws of balance and homeostasis apply to us as well.
This is why now, when the harmful Human activity reached, crossed a critical threshold, Nature will restrict, collapse our excessive, harmful, unjustified activities. The pandemic is just the first step in this process.
The conscious, purposeful Human activity to achieve balance and integration with Nature’s system other animals achieve instinctively gives us our evolutionary Human advantage.
