Nature’s Own Science
Opinions from the Internet about human intellect, science, and religion:
“So you just equated high IQ with “prideful, foolish thinking”.
So, according to this logic, it's best to be of low and mediocre IQ so that won’t be “prideful”.
Well, okay Mr. Bible thumper.
I can’t accept the opinion of a religious wing nut. Try facing life without invisible omnipotent friends and get back to me. Invisible friends are for children. Grow up.”
Probably I did not express myself properly, but you misunderstood me on multiple levels.
I am not sure what a “Bible thumper” means but I can reassure you I am not religious, I do not have blind faith in anything.
I am a scientist by nature. In my day to day life am a surgeon, working based on Nature’s laws, and in general, I am studying, following a unique, empirical scientific method that explains Nature’s laws and how human beings can learn them in order to adjust how we live, how we behave, act to those laws.
I did not say our IQ, intellect is bad or unnecessary.
I wrote that how we use our intellect is harmful, as in its original egocentric, subjective form we use this intellect to abuse, harm, exploit each other and Nature.
If you do not see countless examples in this world right now, I cannot help you. Even the so-called “helpful”, “altruistic actions” we do are only for our own sake, whatever we invent, develop we use for selfish profit and war.
You can read for example about those great scientists who developed the atomic weapon, how they felt, what remorse they had to carry for the rest of their lives when they saw in action what their bomb can do. At least some of them had the sensitivity to understand what they unleashed on the world.
We can see how the so-called “academia” is locked into their ivory towers, completely disconnected from real life, living in their phantasies, ideologies, philosophies and that how they force it on others as dogma.
You are right that religion, blind faith is not any better, and then there has been much destruction based on such worldview, behavior as well.
But the most dangerous “religion” is the blind faith in our own “omnipotent” human mind, intellect, as if we could do, solve anything, we could change, erase, uproot, replace anything in Nature just because our very limited, distorted egocentric and subjective intellect says so.
We are here to study Nature and understand, follow Nature’s laws, its template in order to become Nature’s only conscious, “insider” observers, partners. If we use our intellect IQ for that purpose — instead of believing that we are above Nature and others — then we will truly develop and become truly wise people.
You do not have to accept anything.
I am publicizing a scientific method — based on Nature’s strict, unchanging laws — which can help us understand ourselves, why we are at present incompatible with Nature and its laws, and how we can change ourselves if we want.
This has nothing to do with religion, blind belief — although the original language of this science can be confusing as it started developing thousands of years ago.
Religions developed by misunderstanding, reading, and following superficially, literally what this ancient, empirical, natural science describes in a multi-layered, symbolic language. But for those who know how to read it, interpret it and use it, it is a deeper, truer science and life method than anything else in this world, as it gives us the ability to research and understand Nature through a truly selfless, objective viewpoint.
But again, everything is based on free choice, understanding after proper research and attainment. Thus you can dismiss, mock what I write, and continue following your inherently subjective, egocentric, self-justifying intellect — we are all born with it — and see where it takes you and the world.
As they say, “I am just a messenger”, I simply share something I study, follow, this is not my opinion or teaching, the method the “teaching” comes from “Nature itself”. The rest depends on people whether they want to listen and follow what Nature tries to teach us or we carry on, proudly, foolishly believing only in ourselves.
