Nature’s evolution needs Humanity
Opinion from the Internet on Humanity’s fragile, dire state:
“I don’t think the world is in any danger or needs saving but humans are in danger and we need saving from ourselves. If the world was a conscious being, it was say who cares, creatures have come and gone over millions of years so your next!
So we humans could all die of Covid-20, as far as the earth is concerned!”
I agree with you, we are the only endangered species.
During the first, global quarantine, lockdown we could see how Nature almost immediately starts to repair, replenish itself as the harmful Human activity retreats.
So we are killing only ourselves with our cancer-like, excessively consuming, ruthlessly competitive lifestyle.
On the other hand Nature won’t just let us become extinct, after all, we have a very unique, predetermined evolutionary role to play in Nature’s system. We have to become Nature’s only conscious “independent but integrated" observers, partners.
This is the reason we are born with an unnatural, destructive, selfish, egotistic nature, together with our unique Human mind that is capable of critical self-assessment, initiating self-change.
This initial incompatibility with Nature gives us our independent viewpoint. On the other hand we can learn how to integrate into Nature by changing, fine-tuning ourselves to become like Nature, acquiring an insider observer viewpoint.
In our generation we will have to start the conscious, proactive phase of Human evolution, developing against, above our inherent nature, gradually adapting ourselves to Nature’s perfect integral template.
