Moving human existence to the level of intentions

Question from the Internet:

“Would we have a better world if we were much more mindful of our thoughts and actions?”

We are at a very unique turning point in our human development.

The fact that we evolved into a globally integrated and fully interdependent world will force us to re-evaluate all aspects of our lives and will also force us to enter a much deeper, more sensitive layer of existence.

Until now we have been focusing on our actions and thoughts, on the actions and thoughts of others. From now on we will need to start focusing on our intentions behind our thoughts and actions and we will understand that existence is actually unfolding, it is decided on the level of intentions.

Until now we did not have to focus on our intentions as we “naturally” followed our default, instinctive intention which is doing everything for our own sake, making all calculations based on a 100% egocentric, subjective “pleasure/pain” basis.

But now, in this global, integral world our instinctive intention made us behave like cancer, when knowingly, unknowingly we keep consuming, succeeding, surviving at each other’s and Nature’s expense.

Thus our evolutionary conditions, combined with our instinctive survival reflex combined with our unique human intellect — capable of critical self-assessment and initiating self-change — will direct us towards purposefully, methodically changing our intentions from doing everything only for our own sake, to doing everything for the sake, for the benefit and wellbeing of the whole collective, of the whole Natural system.

It is like moving from the superficial picture we see on the screen of the computer into the software, where the actual decisions, actions, cause, and effect processes run. For the first time in history — by moving to the deeper level of intentions — we can take our lives and future development into our own hands, purposefully, proactively aligning ourselves with Nature’s laws integration and evolutionary flow leading to ever greater, more optimal integration of the whole system.

By this we find and fulfill our unique, evolutionary human role in Nature, becoming the system’s active, objective observers and benevolent partners.
