Question from the Internet:
“What metaphors are you going to use in order to improve your own definition of globalization? Enumerate at least three and explain one of them?”
“Globalization” means existence in a globally integrated and fully interdependent world.
It is like:
- Being cells of the same living body, all mutually selflessly existing, working for the health, survival of the complete body.
- Being personal computers in a fully integrated network that is set up for a single task, purpose.
- Actually being a single species in Nature’s fully integrated system with the full responsibility to contribute to the overall balance and homeostasis of the whole system in order to facilitate life and optimal development.
I am not sure if any further explanation is necessary.
What is important to understand is, that this is not something philosophical, theoretical, it is not man-made and we do not have a free choice about it. It is organized and obligated this way by Nature’s strict, unchanging and unforgiving laws.
Our task is to consciously adapt ourselves to those laws. And it is specifically this conscious adaptation, full awareness that makes us Human, elevating us above other animals that are either instinctively integrate into Nature or they become extinct.
