Like it or not, humanity is integral part of Nature

Question from the Internet:

“What is your idea on this environmental principle that human progress must consider its effect on nature?”

We could say this principle is “natural", even logical.
After all, we are born from Nature, we still exist in and evolve with Nature.

Thus all the fundamental Natural laws that sustain the balance and homeostasis life depends on are obligatory for us as well.

The fact that humanity has been existing in, developing through a certain amnesia, misconception that we are outside of, above Nature, and that we can do whatever we want by establishing our own unnatural human ideologies, philosophies and systems - and by that becoming destructive to Nature and self-destructive to ourselves — don’t change that fact that from Nature’s point of view we are but a single — albeit very important, unique — species in the system.

So Nature will increasingly pressure, force us and will try to reject is — like a living body rejects a foreign object — until either conscious recognition, education or intolerable suffering will convince us about the need to change ourselves and to become compatible with Nature.

The “beauty" is that this has nothing to do with any of our arbitrary, misguided ideologies, philosophies, religions of activism. This is so according to Nature’s strict, unforgiving, unchanging laws that cannot be bribed, ignored, circumvented.

Either we follow those laws and survive pleasantly, or we punish ourselves and go through crisis after crisis, experience different kinds of self-inflicted torments until we yields.

It is or choice which way we develop, aligning ourselves with Nature’s laws and evolution’s flow. We are the only creatures in Nature that can consciously, proactively determine their own development in the system.
