Lifeline to Israel

An article in The Jerusalem Post:

Trump hands Netanyahu a political lifeline, opponents should take note — opinion

My comment:

Netanyahu’s face in the pictures from that press conference tells everything; he looks like someone who just won the lottery.

But I do not see Trump’s actions as a “lifeline to Netanyahu.

I see that Trump just gave a lifeline to Israel to the Jewish Nation.

And whether we use this lifeline or not does not depend on the politicians.

It is our choice if we still allow the politicians and the media to separate us to incite Jews and Israelis to infight, undermine each other, and go against one another.

It is our choice if we finally decide “Never Again,” meaning we never again allow anything — internally or externally — to divide us and provoke our instinctive “baseless hate against each other without the ability to cover it with the unique “supernatural” — above instinctive human nature — love only we know how to learn and implement.

This is our moment of free choice; this is the moment of liberation. If Trump keeps his promises and plans, he will create a safety bubble around Israel, which we need to use to recreate our “unfounded unity” — without waiting for collective blows and grief to unite us — and the uniquely Jewish mutual guarantee that has to become the foundation of this new Jewish Nation that received the ability to be born after October 7, 2023.

We have to do this with or without politicians as a Nation.
