Life in a terminally ill human society

Question from the Internet:

“Do you think we live in a healthy society where the people that are currently in charge do good things? I can say with experience that people need to know where they’re at in terms of global affairs.”

We live in a very sick society that has no humane goals, direction, or purpose.

We are drowning in aimless consumerism, and ruthless and exclusive competition that leads to conflicts and wars, while “drugging and doping” ourselves with whatever we can so we would not need to think about our present and future state.

This is not necessarily the fault of those who are in charge.

After all, they grow out of society from among all of us. They might be more selfish, egoistic, and exploitative than the average citizen, but we are all born with the same, 100% self-serving, self-justifying, individualistic, and exploitative nature, and we all behave like cancer towards each other and nature.

And as long as we do not recognize and accept this, we also do not have the chance and ability to change and correct things — by changing and correcting ourselves.

This is why everything depends on and starts with recognizing the true desires and intentions that constantly drive us, so after the correct diagnosis we could apply the proper and working remedy.
