Learning to direct the emotional impressions that shape us

Question from the Internet:

“Which creates a huge impact in life, imagination, or reality? Why?”

We are emotional creatures and our mind channels, sorts, prepares our emotions. So the greatest impact in life we get from emotional impressions.

That does not necessarily answer your question since we can get emotional impressions from “real” and “virtual” things alike, we all know how certain dreams can leave very deep impressions in us for days for example.

Moreover as a result of our inherently introverted, subjective consciousness, perception of reality we do not even know if the “reality” we perceive is “real or imaginary”…

Thus the best we can do is to prepare a unique, closed, mutually supportive, and mutually complementing environment around ourselves (in the reality we perceive) and that environment will determine all our impressions (“real or imaginary”), and will shape, develop us.

And in a very unique environment, we can even use such shaping, formatting in a way, that we get closer to a true, objective perception of reality where we can separate the real from the imaginary…
