Leadership in the new world after Covid-19
As we are gradually starting to get used to the idea, that a new world awaits after the pandemic and the ensuing socio-economic crisis passes, in general, the notion of leadership will also change.
First of all, I think we all need to start thinking like leaders who are responsible from now on, as with the pandemic we entered a completely new phase of Human existence, a development that is based on absolute mutual responsibility.
So none of us can just shrug our shoulders, waiting for leaders, experts to solve, direct our lives for us, we all have to find the most optimal place, a role where we can most optimally contribute to the fully integrated, interdependent system we are revealing in between us.
Any new leader of any nation would also need to follow the natural template an integral world requires. This means to establish a complex, mutually responsible and mutually complementing team of experts that can help the elected leader to govern, guide people, constantly showing a positive example of leadership through teamwork. Each part of that team — especially the overall leader — would need to become a true “public servant” in every sense of that expression.
Moreover, the new leaders would need to facilitate similar teamwork and equal, mutually responsible and mutually complementing cooperation with the other leaders all across the world, as in this fully integrated, interdependent world no nation can succeed, survive on its own.
Humanity can solve the mounting global problems (and there are no more local, national, regional problems any longer) only through such mutual cooperation.
I think it will be very exciting to receive the chance of leadership at this time, when we have the realistic chance of transforming Human development from a previously, blind, instinctive, egotistic, ruthlessly, exploitatively competitive one towards a mutually responsible, mutually complementing collective one that will elevate our existence to a qualitatively much higher level!
