Jewish unity depends on the right education

An article in The Jerusalem Post:

My comment:

I fully agree with the call of the article.

Moreover, now our youth has a taste of the dangers and destruction we face when we are disunited and infighting and what strength, upliftment, and success we can taste when we are united.

It would be a crime to miss this opportunity to continue this unity awakened by suffering and collective grief with the right education, teaching not only the youth but all Jews in Israel and all around the world — why we must stay united and how we can maintain our unity.

Tru Jewish unity is “supernatural” as it has to be achieved and maintained above and against our inherently selfish, egocentric, individualistic, and exploitative nature.

All human beings are born with the same inherent nature, but only Jews have the practical and purposeful method to overcome our instincts and foster unity and mutual guarantee instead.

In fact, this ability to build and maintain this “supernatural” unity and mutual guarantee is the only thing that separates Jews from others.

This is based on the merit of our predecessors or “forefathers” who “chose” — or were chosen naturally — to become “Jewish” by learning and practicing how to exist and behave above and despite the selfish and egoistic inherent human nature.

As a result, we also have the obligation and responsibility to revive our method and publicize it to others since a sustainable and prosperous human society can be built only according to the Jewish method.
