It’s impossible to live outside of society

Question from the Internet:

“Is it possible to live outside of society?”

It is not possible to live outside of society — even if we have a few romantic Hollywood movies suggesting otherwise.

We are social creatures and we lose our “humanity" without constant mutual contact with other humans — even if it is negative.

It is not without reason why solitary confinement is one of the most severe punishments, and we can see from the examples of the pandemic quarantines as well, how much people who had to isolate alone suffered.

And we don’t even comprehend how much we are integrated, interdependent although nature constantly tries to show us in different ways.

We are actually single cells in humanity’s fully integrated “super-organism", and unless we learn how to make this work through positive, sustainable, mutually responsible, mutually complementing cooperation, we will not survive, as separated cells, organs of the same body can’t survive without the circulation, communication of the collective, and without that cooperation we can’t solve the mounting global problems threatening our existence.
