It is time to recapture Happiness — together

Question from the Internet:

“Why were people happier in the past decades? (excluding wars and natural disasters etc)?”

Because we are moving constantly away from the source of happiness.

We are moving away from the original familial, tribal, national Human connections and try to define happiness as personal, individual fulfillment, by the possession of material goods, services, pleasures. As a result, we feel increasingly empty, depressed, we escape to different addictive substances, “brainless circus and bread entertainment” to fill the gap — unsuccessfully.

Alongside our technical, scientific development, we lost sight of what makes us Human and what makes us happy.

True happiness is a collective, positive, dynamic emotional impression which we gain from mutually supportive and mutually complementing interconnections, relationships between us. And since Human development is defined by the constantly growing, intensifying Human ego, it has become more and more difficult to maintain the originally instinctive familial, tribal, national ties between people.

So far the whole process was instinctive, blind. Now we have to switch to a conscious, methodical process to actively build the necessary Human interconnections which will again fulfill us with happiness — while also safeguard our collective survival in an integral, interdependent Natural system.

And since we have to build those connections above and against the strong, egotistic, individualistic inclination in all of us, we need a unique, purposeful, and highly practical educational method for this purpose.
