Israeli politics: Are we insane?!

A fresh article in The Jerusalem Post today is reminding us to the true face of Israel, to the foundations of the Jewish Nation, which is unity and mutual responsibility above vast diversity, and despite the usual "stiff necked" mutual distrust, animosity.

We tend to forget about this while we listen to the media inciting everywhere they can, and looking at the "leaders" of the country that can’t even keep the same laws, instructions they themselves decide on (openly breaking the social distancing regulations), and keep pushing the country towards complete chaos due to their completely disconnected, selfish agendas, personal goals.

The Jewish Nation survives on mutual guarantee and those who are not part of this - especially when they are supposed to show the positive example - should have the decency to disappear from the scene.

If - and this looks like certainty now - Israel has to go through a 4th election due to egos, revenge missions, personal legacies preventing agreements - that has to exclude all self-serving, harmful political parties and their self-serving, self-justifying leaders, that became the obstacles to true democracy, and has to exclude all the politicians who played active role in recent times!

It is time for a complete restart, handing the Knesset back to true, independent representation by public servants elected by the public from within the public - not career politicians - who understand the true meaning of this notion.

As Einstein said, "The definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over and expecting different results".

So are we insane, or are we ready to start rebuilding our Nation on it’s true foundations, instead of playing with the already failed, self-destructive methods of other nations?!
