Israel in unity — the true and organic AI

On October the 7th, 2023, a tectonic shift happened in Israeli society. A country that was seemingly heading for civil war in the weeks and months leading to the Hamas attack suddenly reverted into an unprecedented and overwhelming unity.

Although during the large-scale social protests, even reservists threatened not to serve under the current government, a previously never-seen number of hundreds of thousands of reservists joined the army. Tens of thousands of Israelis flew home from abroad, only to join the war in any capacity they could.

Orthodox religious people — many of them who did not even acknowledge the existence of a secular Jewish State and abhorred the army — started registering into the army while others came to prepare food and provide unconditional support to the defense forces.

Famous actors joined the army on the frontlines, pop stars wrote new songs to encourage and inspire the nation, and gave multiple performances in public or to the army. Supermodels and actresses raised millions of dollars for the country. Whoever could not fight or was not enlisted to fight started giving blood and donations and presented food to the soldiers.

Even politicians stopped their bickering and infighting, and there has been an almost eerie silence on the “political front”; only a few journalists tried to exploit the situation for their own advantage and agenda but were met with a very strong rebuttal.

Both on the military and on the international political front, Israel adapts by the minute, learning how to respond and process without missing a beat.

The whole nation turned into a singular, mutually responsible, and mutually complementing “super-organism” with a seemingly unified “collective intellect” that can effortlessly digest and compute data and information and provide immediate and successful responses and solutions.

Of course, the war is not over, and a new front might open, while the external pressure from all over the world on the Jewish nation will only increase. Moreover, even if the war is successful and Israeli life reverts to “normal,” it is highly likely that the previous infighting and mutual animosity will return, especially if new elections are called.

Still, what we can see in Israel now can show us a positive and working example of how true, organic, and artificial intelligence works. It is
“artificial” since such unity and mutual responsibility and cooperation are not “natural” to human beings.

We are all born egocentric, self-serving, self-justifying, and fiercely individualistic. We all thrive at ruthlessly competing against others, and we all enjoy succeeding and progressing at the expense of others.

Thus, Israel’s unique unity and “mutual guarantee” is truly “supernatural,” as it is above and against the inherent human nature.

Of course, this present unity and many previous such examples are not “perfect” since they are the result of collective trauma, collective grief, and the usual external pressure Jews and Israel find themselves under again and again. Some of our sages even suggested that without such constant external pressure, Jews — very stubborn, individualistic, fiercely argumentative, and diverse people — would have separated and completely scattered from each other already.

The true and perfect Jewish unity and mutual guarantee — the one the original Jewish Nation was established upon — would need to happen and be sustained without such external pressure, without collective grief, only for the sake of the unity and mutual guarantee itself.

We need to aspire for and keep and strengthen our unity and mutual guarantee from the knowledge that by this, we build a society and a nation that becomes similar to nature’s finely balanced and mutually integrated system where each and every element instinctively and automatically keeps such mutual integration and mutually complementing cooperation for the sake of creating and nurturing life.

The special, “nature-like” unity and mutual integration humanity will have to achieve by following a “shining” and practical example from Jews and Israel is our predetermined next evolutionary Human state. And the uniqueness of human integration, as opposed to nature’s instinctive integration, is that it is conscious, purposeful, and proactive — above and against our inherent nature.

As a result of this consciously and purposefully achieved similarity with nature, we can become nature’s only conscious and independent observers and equal partners.

This is the only thing all of the Jewish writings and teachings are about; this is the only reason and purpose the Jewish nation was created for, so we can lead humanity to our predetermined, very high, evolutionary Human purpose in life.

When Israel unites, the Jewish nation gains unique, “supernatural” qualities and abilities. But this is not for our own sake. As the writings say, we have to become “Light unto others” through our shining and positive example!
