ISO 14000 EMS — One Global Environmental Mng. System Revealed by Nature
A new story from my dear friend, Ernest Itzkovitch from Toronto:
This is the best time to admit — that Nature revealed a new degree/level of Global Connection.
Either you will perceive it as pros or cons, it depends on you, but there is no doubt that a Major and Massive Change is happening.
This super-smart Coronavirus (#covidexplained), seems to stay with us for a long while — forcing humanity to change our social relations and get used to new habits per Nature’s request, i.e. “ Habit Becomes Second Nature” > follow safe Social Distancing.
Lets put together in bullet points what changed since March 11,2020 — when WHO announced COVID-19 as a Global Pandemic:
1. Stay home
2. Social distancing
3. Closure of businesses
4. Hygiene precautions
5. Less travel to workplaces
6. More work from home
7. More virtual connections
8. Stopping Flights
9. Reduction of oil consumption and oil prices
10. Less production of extra products and less waste (i.e. islands of plastic waste flow in the oceans worldwide..)
ISO 14000 — is a famous International Environmental Management System standard that aimed to improve Global Environmental Performance by reducing significant environmental aspects and impacts and the overall footprint of humanity in interaction and engagement with Nature. So far the ISO 14000 standard is voluntary, however, Nature showed us that from now on is Mandatory !!!
Scientists are sharing with us new innovative and creative ideas — that exceed our imagination in the material world that we live in.
But what we are doing when Nature is teaching humanity a controversial lesson (i.e.Corona) how to Manage Natural Resources?
It seems that R,R,R (Reduce, Reuse, Recycle) formula is getting much higher attention — Nature’s Lesson to Global Leadership !!!
Even though global Leaders are making their best effort to cope with Corona, we forget the Main root cause -The Human Factor !!!
We already know that “Nature created the desire to receive joy and pleasure”. So far so good — but we often forget to remind ourselves — that taking/using/consuming beyond our basic/necessary needs — is against Nature’s Laws. Our extravaganza behavior and $ expenses to “satisfy our comfort zone and show-off desires (Ego, Greed..)” is the extra part that Nature does not agree with.
It is not a random decision by Mother Nature to restrict big social gatherings and stop flights completely, because Nature needs to take time to clean & purify the air, the Top #1 necessity of humanity to breath and exist. Thank you Nature > Leadership Watch !!!
Do you remember the Global Gatherings of G7, G-20 debates to reach agreements on emission targets, Global Warming, etc. ?
Well — all these Global Goals, Objectives, and Targets — resolved by a blink of an eye by Nature with One Integrated Global Unity !!!
We must bring the Global Economy to an Optimal Economy — re-calculate all models and formulas to optimum vs. extras/maximum.
Recalling my Grandfather’s (RIP) old joke in Hungarian — “ Man is Planning and Creator is Doing” — do you agree or need proof ?!!
In other words, “If you want to make the Creator laughing — just tell him about your plans” — Ha-Ha-Ha > and measure the results.
Mutual and Global Responsibility to Environment and Nature — starts “From Me to We to One”. Double-check the list of your needs, make sure that you are saving natural resources (water, oil, hydro), leave your extras for others, Educate Yourself, Your family and Friends on Integral Education (see my previous articles), share the importance of Balance with Nature to reach good life to all !!!
