Is world peace possible at all?!
Question from the Internet:
“Does anyone believe in new world peace?”
I am not completely sure what “new world peace” means, whether it means “new world” or “new peace”.
Since we have never actually had world peace before probably, this notion refers to a “new world” where peace becomes possible.
So far, we never had true peace since human history is a long chain of recurring vicious cycles dominated by conflicts and wars with failed and temporary peace agreements scattered in between. The Second World War finished only less than 80 years ago, and we are on the brink of the Third World War that might be a nuclear one.
This is so because we are still blindly and instinctively following our inherently selfish, egocentric and individualistic nature that drives us towards excessive overconsumption of resources for ourselves and to a ruthless competition where we gain pleasure from succeeding at the expense of others.
True peace — sustainable, positive and constructive, mutually responsible and mutually complementing cooperation — is possible only if we build a “new world”, where we all start consciously and willingly existing and behaving above and against our inherent nature.
There is an actual, purposeful and practical method that can help us achieve that by following Nature’s finely balanced and mutually integrated template instead of our arbitrary and destructive ideologies and philosophies that are all the product of the inherent human ego.
