Is there a solution for the world’s problems?
Question from the Internet:
“Is it true that today’s solutions won’t fix tomorrow’s problems? Why?”
As we can see, “today’s solutions” can’t even fix todays problems. We can’t fix the mounting problems that are threatening our existence, since we do not even comprehend the problems.
We have evolved into a globally integrated and fully interdependent system. And it is not something “we have done”. We have evolved into this global and integral world, because nature’s evolution is pushing us towrds this direction. Thus our globally integrated and globally interdependent state is something we cannot ignore or escape.
On the otherhand, we are all born with an inherently egocentric, subjective and individualistic consciousness and perception of reality. We simply cannot see beyond the very thin layer of self-benefit and self-interest. We simply do not have the tools to do so. Even when we use highly developed technology to probe the Universe or our own planet – or try to look into the particles building our world – whatever we gain we interpret by the same, 100% egocentric, subjective and individualistic mindset.
None of us can see beyond one’s dark, limited and distorted sphere. We despretaley and helplessly try to evaluate and “solve” each and every problem we encounter selfishly, succeeding at the expense of others and nature.
Thus we are desperately inadequate in recognizing and comprehending the global problems that are pressuring us.
Our only chance for problem-solving and collecrive survival is consciously and purposefully developing an unprecedented, collective, mutually responsible and mutually complementing integration. This mutual integration would also give us a very special “collective consciousness, or collective intellect”. Only this collective consciousness can adequately perceive, evaluate and comprehend nature’s “global and integral” system and the laws and principles we need to live by.
Only when we willingly and consciously start to adapt ourselves to nature’s system and its laws and to the direction evolution wants to take us – with or without our consent – can we avoid the seemingly inevitable and imminent self-destruction.
When global human society takes on the shape of “global and integral nature” and we all become like healthy cells in the single Human organism, our collective life will change for the better and we will also fulfill our unique and very high evolutionary role and purpose in nature’s system.
