Is Russia truly the only “evil” nation in the world?
Question from the Internet:
“If Russia didn’t exist wouldn’t the world be a better place?”
Yes, sure.
It is like the US and the whole world have become a much better place since Trump was voted out of Presidency (although it seemed that for those 4 years there was relative peace all over the world instead of the near World War situation of today for example).
And of course for example, since the previous reportedly racist owner of the Los Angeles Clippers was rooted out of NBA it solved all the racial problems in the league, as clamping down on Epstein solved the problem of trafficking “unsuspecting” young women to the extremely rich.
At least this is what certain people, parties or organization and their propaganda machinery try to tell us.
Nobody actually examines or is interested in why Russia started a war, how come the US dictates every reaction and decision and conducts a de facto proxy war single-handedly, using Ukrainians and the rest of Europe as cannon fodder without any international or UN approval.
Actually, there are many who think that if the US did not exist then the world would be a much better place and considering how most of the conflicts and wars since 1945 were in some way started by the US such opinion has some merit.
Of course, it is impossible to condone the brutal destruction Russia is committing, trying to force their will on another nation regardless of the cost and consequences, as we can’t overlook the attempts of China to apply “soft” and not-so-soft power all over the world, or how the EU is basically the manipulative system for the benefit of the richest nations at the expense of the poorer ones and then we haven’t even started talking about other parts of the world.
The point is, that we are all the same.
We are all driven by the same, inherently self-serving, self-justifying, egocentric, hateful and exploitative nature. This is why Human history is an endless chain of conflicts and wars with short pauses through temporary and futile peace agreements. This is why we recklessly and endlessly overconsume and accumulate resources and profit only for ourselves while benefiting at the expense of others and Nature.
Those who claim that we are actually good and we just need to root out or destroy the “rotten apples” and then everything will be perfect are the greatest liers.
Things will change only when we all recognize and accept the cancer-like inherent nature working in us and become willing to change and further develop ourselves willingly and consciously until we become able to build true peace and a Nature-like, mutually responsible and mutually complementing cooperation our survival depends on.
