Question from the Internet:
“Even if you don’t believe destiny in general, do you accept that whatever circumstances you go through regardless as some sort of intersection intertwined meant to happen as foretold?”
The use of such notions as “destiny”, “fate” or even “karma” usually turns many people off. Besides, people like to believe that they have control over their lives, even if they already know that they do not.
After all, we all know how much we are constantly manipulated by the media, social media, politicians all the time. When we watch movies like the “Matrix” or documentaries like “Social Dilemma” we know for certain that it is about us.
But after the “entertainment,” we return to our stubborn illusion that we control our thoughts, decisions, actions.
And then we did not even consider that even the so-called “puppet masters”, who seemingly pull the strings behind the scenes in our world, they are just as much puppets as we are, as we are all totally, inevitably controlled by our instincts, by our inherently self-serving, self-justifying, subjective and egocentric nature.
And our inner program is given to us, is controlled by Nature’s evolution and the Natural force-field we all exist in.
If we want to understand how much everything that ever happened to us and will happen to us is predetermined, and if we want to know if we have any free choice in life at all, we would need to study the Natural system, its evolutionary plan and all the cause and effect processes that are influencing every second and notion of our lives.
We also need to study our own nature to understand inherently what desires and intentions determine our decisions and actions.
Then we can find those fine, seemingly minuscule chances, “gaps” where we can take control over existence until we arrive at a tangible, realistic sensation of being in total control of reality.
