Question from the Internet:

“Is mankind to blame for the deplorable state of our present societies?”

The obvious answer would be, yes, mankind is to blame for the terrible state of our societies. After all, who built and who is using these societies?

Still, the question is just. Did we actually have free choice in the helplessly recurring vicious historical cycles and in building our present, crisis-ridden civilization?

And the answer is actually, no. We did not have any free choice until now. Up to this point, mankind – individually and collectively – has been blindly following our inherently egocentric, selfish, individualistic and exploitative nature, which nature’s evolution installed in us.

Until now, we have been blind and hapless actors in a cosmic movie, that has been reletnlessly progressing towards the dead-end we find ourselves in today. The “great” heros and villains of history, our present “leaders and kinfluencers” are no more than colorful and sharply charicatured actors, playing out their role without any free choice.

Our actual responsibility ands free choice starts from the moment we recognize our inherently egotistic and individualistic nature as harmful and destructive, we accept that our inherent nature is literally killing us, and as a result, we develop a strong, intolerable and irrepressible desire to change and further develop ourselves. And then, when we also find and start using a special, purposeful and practical method for our self-correction and self-development, then our free choice and conscious participation in human development starts.

We are at the most important junction in human history, when we can finally take our fate into our own hands and determine who we want to become and in what way.

Thus we are not responsible and cannot be blame for the past and present. But the future, from this moment onwards, is already on our account!
