Question from the Internet:

“Is AI a potential threat to humanity, and what steps should be taken to ensure its responsible development?”

AI is a potential threat to humanity as long as the users of AI — human beings — continue blindly and instinctively following their inherently selfish, egotistic, and exploitative nature and calculations. As long as we do so, we will use everything we have, all our tools, like AI, only for excessive overconsumption and to control, manipulate, exploit, and destroy each other and nature.

This has nothing to do with AI; it depends only on us.

If we want to change anything and avoid a seemingly inevitable and imminent self-destruction, then we will have to change and further develop ourselves. We will have to learn how to exist and act above and against our inherent nature and start acting and behaving for the sake of others and the sake of the whole natural system, including humanity, which is an integral part of nature’s system.
