In order to take care of our nature, first we need to recognize it!

Question from the Internet:

“How can we take care of our nature?”

First of all we need to recognize our true nature — which is inherently self-serving, self-justifying and thrives on succeeding at the expense of others.

Most people honestly don’t know this and honestly believe that they are “good people", capable of selflessly caring for others, capable of empathy, compassion, etc.

Our ego is very shrewd, it acts like the proverbial snake, undetected, “whispering and biting” from concealment.

In order to recognise our true, selfish, egoistic tendencies we either need to go through dramatic “life or death" situations, or we need to engage in a unique, practical educational method that can help us provoke the ego and help us recognize who we are in safe, purposeful conditions.

Only when we recognized our “snake—like", destructive ego and we truly want to learn how to control it — as the ego can’t be suppressed or erased — then the same educational method provides the necessary tools and the conducive environment where we can learn and practice how to harness, channel the ego’s power towards positive, constructive, collective goals and purposes.
