In order to sustain unity, we need to correct our inherent nature first!
An article in The Jerusalem Post:
My comment:
We won’t have lasting peace; we will not sustain unity and mutual responsibility unless we finally understand the root cause unless we finally recognize that mutual unfounded hatred is rooted in our inherently self-serving, self-justifying, and exploitative nature.
Then only way to overcome the separation and hatred that arises from our innate “internal software” is building and maintaining the “brotherly love” we observe today consciously, purposefully and methodically — above and against our inherent nature that will keep inciting hatred and opposition.
Only Jews were given a unique method that can, first of all, help us reveal, recognize, and accept the original hate and rejection towards anybody who is different from ‘our self’, and then this method also gives us the practical remedy and step by step practice how to overcome our inherent nature an exist and behave above it and against it.
All Jews heard about this, the whole Torah, the “stories” of our Holidays speak about nothing else but how to unite and how to foster “love of others” above and against our instinctive distrust and animosity towards one another.
Our predecessors became a Nation of “one man with one heart” while “camping around the Mount of Hatred, pledging to mutual guarantee heeding the advice of “unity or death.”
Nothing else can help us but change our original nature through the method we were given, which method we will also have to teach to others, facilitating survival above and against human nature.
