In a global, integral world there is no individual freedom!

Question from the Internet:

“How valuable is freedom in the context of Society?”

Since we have evolved into a globally integrated and fully interdependent world — actually we have always lived in a fully integrated and interdependent world just we were not aware of it — we do not have freedom as we imagine it.

When I depend on everybody else and everybody else depends on me, when individual health, success, survival is equal to the health, success, and survival of the whole collective, we do not have any individual freedom to choose whatever we want to do, we cannot make calculations, decisions before we take each and everybody and on top of that the whole Natural system we exist in into consideration.

This of course goes directly against everything we have ever known, against our upbringing, education, and what society brainwashed us with. All through history we have been fighting for illusory individual freedom we simply cannot get and the more we hope, fight for it the more harm we cause for ourselves.

All the fight, activism for individual freedom, individual rights follow the behavior, mechanism of cancer, where cells, organs start to work independent of the rest of the body, excessively consuming and then completely destroying the body.

We are now on the verge of such self-destruction, we are totally unable to solve the mounting, unsolvable global problems, since each individual and nation goes after their own selfish, subjective calculations, “truth”, and for the same reason large scale, even world wars are brewing.

Our problem-solving ability and our collective human survival solely depend on understanding that in a globally integrated, interdependent world the only thing we need freedom, liberation from is our own, inherently self-serving, self-justifying, subjective, and individualistic nature.
