If we see the world as bad, how can we see it good?
Question from the Internet:
“If we see the world as bad, how can we see it as good?”
For that, we will have to change our perception of reality.
Our inherent perception of reality is 100% egocentric, subjective and it is very limited and distorted. We notice and assess from the whole reality only what is important for our totally self-serving and self-justifying and individualistic “pleasure/pain” calculations.
And since the nature of our insatiable and ever-growing desires for pleasure is to never feel satisfied and content, as we constantly try to move towards even bigger, stronger and tastier pleasures and always want more than what others have, and as a result we also paint others in a very bad light, since they are our direct competitors and enemies to get what we always want, we see a dark, violent and hostile world around us and we constantly feel empty, frustrated, angry or depressed and in danger.
This is true to all of us, in general. Of course the internal hunger and willingness to get whatever we want at all cost and be ready sacrifice everything and everybody for it is different in each and everyone. That is what differentiates people from each other. But the basic software, our consciousness and perception is the same.
If we managed change and redirect our consciousness, approach to life and the resulting perception away from the selfish and egoistic self towards others, if we managed to learn and apply an altruistic way of existence and viewpoint on everything, then we would come to see and tangibly experience a completely different, positive and even perfect reality.
This is what we can and have to learn with the help of a special, purposeful and highly practical method.
