I fully agree with you. At this stage, we are only scratching the surface when we try to understand Nature, and most of the time we only care about what can provide us with more profit, facilitating our excessive overconsumption.

In order to truly research and understand Nature we would need to become similar to it, access its system, its laws, and cause and effect processes “from within”. This is within our reach above and against our inherent nature which is “unnatural”, egocentric, self-serving, and exploitative.

This is neither sin nor it is evil, evolution “created us” with a raw, unfinished software so we could complete our own development consciously, by our own efforts. That will elevate us to the “truly Human” level.
