Humanity vs Nature: what will be the outcome of this war?
Question from the Internet:
“What are your thoughts on improving the world environment?”
We can improve the world by making the human environment, global human society resemble, mirror the Natural environment.
The present and past human environments have been built on our inherently self-serving, self-justifying, egocentric, and individualistic nature, in ruthless, exclusive competition with each other and Nature. We act outside, against nature’s overall balance, we have no idea about our true natural necessities or the available resources, so we recklessly overconsume and accumulate everything for our selfish sake without any limited, without considering the consequences.
And while superficially we can also observe competition, ruthless mutual destruction in Nature, it is always purposeful, necessary for the so-called “circle of life”, like the constant destruction and rebuilding in our own biological body in order to constantly adapt and facilitate life and optimal development.
Nothing we observe in Nature goes beyond the finely governed general balance and homeostasis without which life is not possible.
Nature is a closed, all-encompassing, fully integrated, and interdependent system. We are also integral parts of this system. With our present behavior, human society behaves like cancer or a foreign body and Nature is gradually rejecting us, forcing us to adapt to its system or disappear.
We can’t escape this, even abandoning Earth and moving to other planets would not solve anything, since we face exactly the same conditions, laws of nature everywhere.
If we want to survive — collectively since there is no individual, national, regional survival in a global, integral system — then we have no other choice, but to learn how to adapt ourselves to Nature’s system, how to become compatible by rebuilding human societies on nature’s integral, lawful template.
Our human advantage over other parts of Nature — that are instinctively integrated, never going beyond the boundaries of Nature’s laws — is that we have to, we can acquire the same seamless integration consciously, by our own efforts, against our inherent “unnatural” tendencies. This leads us to our predetermined, evolutionary Human role, purpose in the system: to become Nature’s only conscious, fully integrated but at the same time independent observers and partners.
