Humanity as a single, global community

Question from the Internet:

“Will the people of the world ever come together and live as one large community?”

Yes, we will, the question is what will bring us together.

We can continue our present way of life, blindly following our inherently egocentric, subjective, self-serving and individualistic nature and then we will go through an ever-worsening crisis, wars, socioeconomic collapse and natural disasters we can’t handle. In the end, intolerable suffering will force us to learn how to co-exist and mutually cooperate as without it we will not survive.

Or, we can proactively, consciously and purposefully learn that in Nature’s fully integrated and interdependent system problem-solving and collective survival is possible only through Nature-like mutual integration when we implement our mutual responsibility towards each other and work through mutually complementing cooperation.

The laws of Nature — that govern the general balance and homeostasis life depends on — will not change. We have to adapt to them creating a single, united global community if we want to survive evolution.
