How to live a sustainable life?

Question from the Internet:

“Why can sustainability not just be taught in geography lessons?”

There are many places where it is taught, we have multiple award winning projects, movies that talk about it, even threatening us with self-destruction.

Are we listening though?!

The truth is we hear it, we see the activists shouting, blaming, threatening us, but are we changing?!

No we aren’t.

We keep blaming the leaders, experts like children blaming their parents for their own faults, but are we actually doing everything in our power to change?!

No we aren’t, we can’t.

We are all programmed against sustainability, as we are all programmed - wheter we agree or not, whether we are aware of it or not - to care only about ourselves, to consume, accumulate everything excessively only for ourselves, to succeed and survive at each other’s and Nature’s expense.

Only when we recognize and humbly accept this will we have the opportunity, ability to acquire true solutions - by changing ourselves first.

And when we learn and practically adapt ourselves to Nature’s fully integrated, finally balanced system, then we will be able to live in a sustainable manner, according to the optimal parameters of natural necessities and available resources.
