How much suffering do we need until we wake up?!

Question from the Internet:

“Almost nothing seems to be working in Britain. Could it get worse?”

I do not think you are correct. The Premiere League, the hysteria around the Women Football Euro, the constantly and artificially resurrected “interest” in the royal family, the endless political circus and the “serious” discussions about movies and TV series are still working. Everything that can keep people “entertained” and disconnected from the real problems of life works on turbo all over the world.

We must do everything possible not to leave any time for people to start thinking about their lives, the goals and the true purposes of life. Nobody is asking the question if this Matrix we live in is truly what we need or want.

Unfortunately, most of us are still content to be sucked into this “circus and bread” Matrix, even when a nuclear world war is just around the corner when inflation is rising steadily, when the shelves in the shops are gradually emptying and when our “leaders” became like comedians playing their sorry parts very badly and when we have absolutely no ability to comprehend let alone solve global problems.

The question is, how much suffering and pain do we need to wake up and start thinking about questions like the meaning or purpose of life? Why on Earth we are called human beings when we do not seem to have any positive advantage over other animals?

What disaster will finally shift us to a different kind of development when instead of blindly and instinctively following our limited and corrupted, inherently egocentric, subjective and exploitative nature, we start to become “truly Human” beings?

The future is in our hands, but to build it properly, we have to wake up from this nightmare!
