How far will we go to justify ourselves?

Question from the Internet:

“Will our actions ever be justified to the highest level? Do we need to start a war for any disagreements within our communities?”

You are right. As long as we blindly follow our inherently self-justifying, egocentric and subjective nature, we will greatly justify ourselves and prove others wrong at all costs.

And yes, it will end in a nuclear world war; it will end in a total collapse of our human system, while due to the disagreement between us, we remain desperately helpless to comprehend and solve our mounting global problems.

Moreover, we also have to understand and accept that it is not only others who are “evil” and act destructively. We are all born with the same, 100% self-serving, individualistic and exploitative nature.

Thus the only solution is for all of us to recognize the instinctive, self-destructive tendencies in us so as a result of this recognition, we would develop a true and irrepressible need to change ourselves and further develop towards mutual acceptance, mutual trust and mutual integration — above and against our inherent nature.

If we are wise, we will not wait for all the potential and seemingly imminent disasters and intolerable suffering to “convince” us.

We can consciously, willingly and purposefully start this self-recognition and self-development before the blows and crisis situations become more severe.
