How do people influence and transform society?
Question from the Internet:
“How do people affect society or transform society?”
We have a very special relationship with society.
On the one hand, we are all like embryos in society’s mother’s womb or human incubators. Society gives us our values, goals, aspirations, and behavioral patterns. We are all the products of society.
On the other hand, we are all part of that mother’s womb or incubator, providing the feedback and influences that create the overall “Matrix” we all exist in.
In the general — now global — society, these notions cannot be detected. We all exist and act blindly in both directions, following our basic urges and automatic patterns, constantly searching for the maximum selfish benefit for minimum investment, and running towards pleasures while running away from pain.
But in smaller, methodically organized and conducted environments, where each and every person commits to the purposeful mutual work, we can recognize and practice these two aspects of the human relation to society, constantly refining how to subjugate ourselves towards others to get the best influence from them while providing the most optimal and constantly positive examples and influence towards others to help their development.
From such unique, methodical, and purposeful cells will, a new, qualitatively much higher, positive, and sustainable human society emerges.
