How can we stand out in the global world?

Question from the Internet:

“What’s the best way to stand out in the world?”

“Standing out” is usually interpreted — driven by our inherently egocentric, proudly, and fiercely individualistic nature — as being greater, higher, stronger, wiser, louder, wealthier, more powerful than others. This of course leads to the usual, ruthless, exclusive competitions, each trying to succeed at the expense of others.

And as a result we can’t connect and work for each other, we can’t use true teamwork even when our health, life depends on it, as even in dire situation everybody wants to “stand out” and be the hero, the one who saves the day, who proves to be the wisest, the best leader with the greatest legacy, etc.

In the mutually integrated, mutually responsible, mutually complementing human society — which we will have to build if we want to solve problems and survive in Nature’s fully integrated, interdependent, lawful system — “standing out” will mean “standing behind” everybody, unconditionally, selflessly supporting, serving everybody, being the “smallest”, the “invisible guy” who does all that is necessary behind the scenes.
